This is a great opportunity for travelers visiting the beaches of Guanacaste to enjoy a high-end hot spring setting, along with our custom tree-top yoga platforms, thermal waters, temazcales and massage gazebos.The Meso-American Healing Experience is a mystical adventure of the mind, body and spirit. Combining the rituals and wisdoms from the ancient cultures of the America’s earliest civilizations, it will cleanse and refresh the soul. The experience combines the rich cultures of the Mayan, Aztec and other Meso-American peoples of the South with the sacred rites and ceremonies of their Indigenous neighbors to the North. Your spiritual adventure begins with a welcoming reception and 4 Point Dance performed by a shaman, while you sip herbal teas in El Templo de Fuego (Fire Temple). You are invited to privately leave behind whatever negativity you believe may be restricting you by burning it in the blazing fire, honoring Ancient Indian Rituals. El Templo de Fuego is perfectly located near our natural spring, a water symbol signifying life renewal. Next, step into a truly unique experience offered exclusively at Estancia. YOMED is Yoga combined with Meditation in an extraordinary environment. At Estancia, you are perched on one of our Tree Chapels, communing with nature in the exotic Costa Rican Forest. Beginners can do slow stretches at ground level, Primer Piso, and more advanced guests can ask for the Nido Encantado, our highest level. Everyone begins with calming Breathing Exercises to center your spirit; then you progress to your own level of Stretch Yoga to strengthen and refresh the body. Finally, rejuvenate your mind as you are led into a shamanic journey through guided meditation. You are then led into our Communal Inca Sun Temple, where you progress into HOT YOGA, the temperature is a balmy 100 degrees, further warming your muscles and empowering your body with enhanced stretches. Here you will also experience our color therapies in a unique Kaleidoscopic Temple (This is now under Construction)Next, a more intimate personal Temazcal Healing Experience awaits you in your second Shamanic experience. Your Temazcal is warmed by a roaring fire which also heats up the tea that you are about to drink and the hot stones that emanate that refreshing steam. Relax as you savor inhaling the wonderful curative herbs and essential oils burning in an altar, while sipping the aromatic fruit of Mother Earth.It is now time to nourish your body with a buffet lunch, including natural refreshments.
